Students Impress In The Classroom!

Prior to the Easter holiday, five Year 13 Health & Social Care students visited Nuneaton’s Oak Wood Secondary School where they helped to deliver four sessions to students with a range of complex needs.

All the Higham students were hands-on, enthusiastic and natural with the Oak Wood students while investigating the meaning of Easter.

Several members of the Oak Wood staff commented on the excellent relationships they formed with their students and one teacher actually thought they had undertaken training in working with Special Educational Needs and were actually teaching assistants!

Higham Lane is extremely proud of the girls involved - Amy W (Delta), Amy P (Kappa), Sana (Epsilon), Prosper (Eta) and Jessica (Beta).
