Another Top Ten Performance For Higham Lane School!

Following the recent release of official information, Higham Lane School's performance continues to impress!

According to data released by OfSTED and the Department for Education, the School has performed within the top 8% of all secondary schools in England and is the joint highest-performing state-funded secondary school in Warwickshire, based upon its 2015 GCSE result of 82% 5+ A*-C including English and Maths.

The Department for Education has confirmed that the School achieved a value-added score of 1032.5 against a national average of 1000 for its 2015 GCSE results.

Furthermore, the School is ranked first out of 55 schools with a very similar intake of students across the whole of England.

Delighted Headteacher Phil Kelly commented: ``This is an excellent performance by the students and their teachers. It indicates that students of all abilities make impressive progress at Higham Lane and that the School is performing extremely well.''

This impressive performance follows on from the School's excellent outcomes in 2014 when the Minister of State for Education congratulated the School for being within the top 100 non-selective state-funded schools in England.
